What is a Cavapoo?

A Cavapoo is a designer dog breed, a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle (typically a Miniature or Toy Poodle). They are known for being friendly, intelligent, and affectionate dogs. Here’s more about the breed:

Key Traits:

• Size: Small, usually weighing between 10 to 25 pounds.
• Coat: Cavapoos have soft, curly, or wavy coats. Their coats can come in a variety of colors, including cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and black, sometimes with white markings.
• Hypoallergenic: Thanks to their Poodle genes, Cavapoos are often considered to be hypoallergenic. However, this can vary depending on the individual dog and how much they shed.

Health:

They generally enjoy good health but, like all breeds, they can be prone to certain genetic conditions inherited from their parent breeds, such as:

• Progressive retinal atrophy (Poodle side)

Care:
